As a fintech company, Sentinel Digital provides financial infrastructure to businesses, exclusive clubs, and charities. Combining years of industry experience across their leadership team, Sentinel scaffold white-label digital services upon existing tech stacks—without the need for a technical revolution in terms of hardware or systems.
Building their digital presence and brand from the ground up, Sentinel approached Linguakey to assist with the development of a brand-aligned website to promote their services and break into new markets across the globe. Looking for rapid delivery, with no sacrifice on quality, we began to develop Sentinel’s digital presence with a bespoke website and industry-relevant content.
With previous and significant experience in the fintech space, Sentinel Digital (also known as SDI) had already identified its target audience and how to service them correctly. First and foremost though, their ideal customers needed to be engaged through brand awareness and content.
Working directly with Arun Thangavel and the design team at Altiverse, the time sensitivity around Sentinel’s project delivery meant working to a tight deadline and not compromising on quality. A new website, complete with appropriate branding, product information, and audience-relevant content had to go live as soon as possible, to coincide with their launch and events schedule. Working with the Altiverse team and using our combined expertise, proven agile processes, and our “can-do” approach we set about creating SDI’s online presence.
Fintech solutions come in many different shapes and sizes. The white-label solutions offered by Sentinel, such as digital wallets, cards, membership apps, and the ability to pay for goods directly with cryptocurrency are highly-detailed, industry-specialised, and technical. As a result, a key focus during the project was to ensure SDI’s capabilities were broken down into accessible and engaging units to appeal to their ideal buyers.
How those topics are represented through content, however, can remove barriers around inclusivity, jargon, and understanding. Clear and accessible information can successfully widen a user pool, as it doesn’t discriminate or make assumptions about the reader. This is the exact approach that we set out to implement, in order to successfully attract, engage, and convert SDI’s target audience into long-term partnerships.
With that in mind, we began to immediately scope out the scale of the project and its necessary deliverables. In-depth workshops and interviews held with major stakeholders fuelled our brand knowledge, allowing us to create content that matched Sentinel’s plans for growth and connect with their perfect customers across multiple platforms. Understanding SDI’s values, vision, and overall goals directly shaped the storytelling element of Sentinel’s website, but it also meant that Linguakey was perfectly positioned to create thought-leadership articles and start generating targeted engagement.
With the website wireframes and page content approved and on schedule, our focus switched to preparing blog features to be published directly on Sentinel’s website, LinkedIn page, and independent news source Finextra.
Over a three-month campaign, ten articles were scoped, drafted, and published across all three mediums. Notably, ‘The Power of the Ecosystem,’ a blog explaining how digital wallet innovators are integrating modern services in emerging economies, has been viewed over 13,000 times on Finextra since February 2023. It was also one of the top three most-read articles during the week it went live.
