Jeremy Rodgers


Managing Director and Head of Copy

Jeremy’s a highly experienced content marketer, strategist, and copywriter in the tech space for brands in fintech, cryptocurrency, DeFi, NFT, metaverse, VR, B2B, and SaaS.

Growing from his experience working on many a super-charged cryptocurrency ICO content campaign in 2017, Jeremy founded Linguakey quickly after to serve brands in emergent tech as a specialist content marketing and copywriting agency.

A storyteller and language nerd at heart, he seeks out compelling reads wherever he goes. He also loves a good content challenge (as well as grammar ones)!

Annabel Lee


Project Manager

They received a First Class Honours in BA Fashion Communication from Northumbria University in 2021, specialising in digital activism and marketing. Currently undergoing Postgraduate Research in MRes Design, their research interests focus on the representation of the transgender and non-binary community in fictional film and TV.

They are a passionate activist, receiving awards such as Activist of the Year, Inclusion in Education Award and a Diversity and Inclusion award for their work as a consultant and Gender Diversity Officer.
Annabel joined Linguakey at the start of 2022, falling quickly into their first role as coordinator and marketing assistant, enjoying organising everything possible into spreadsheets and working as the in-house designer.

Alex Welton


Senior Copywriter

Our most recent addition to the team, Alex is a Northumbria University alumni with an undergraduate degree in Drama & Scriptwriting and a MA in Creative Writing. An experienced Project Manager and Technical Author, he’s spent the majority of his career working in I.T., particularly within government and medical sectors.

Writing has, and always will, remain his vocation in life. He’s extremely dedicated to crafting the best content possible for all clients and beyond, as well as striving to see his name on the shelf of some local bookstore.

As senior copywriter, Alex is responsible for creating high-quality work, liaising with clients and supporting our in-house writers. Oh, and he’s a massive football fan and all round geek.

Lauren McDonald


Junior Copywriter

Lauren’s lifelong passion of reading and writing encouraged her to pursue and achieve an Upper Second-Class Honours in English Literature and Creative Writing.

She’s been a blog writer since 2015, when she created her own blog she discovered a passion for writing digital content and writing book reviews.

Lauren has taken her love of writing through life and decided to make a career out of it and joined Linguakey in 2021.

Rebecca Gibbs


Junior Copywriter

Rebecca had a keen interest in history from a young age, particularly in the early modern period. This led her to receive a First-Class Honours in history, specialising in feminist historical study.

A passion for journalism sprouted from her degree, and she went on to achieve a Masters in Media and Journalism.

Rebecca pursued a career as a freelance copywriting experience writing for a number of industries including food, travel, and science and then happily joined Linguakey in 2021.

“The three greatest loves of my life are food, travel, and words. I typically spend my free time hanging out with friends, hosting dinner parties, or reading a good book.“

Daniel Farthing


Trainee Copywriter

When it came to university, Daniel had to decide between Politics and English Literature. He always loved debating and picking things apart so it wasn’t an easy choice, but he went with English because he’s always been an avid reader and lover of stories. Daniel received a First-Class Honours at undergraduate level from Newcastle University and realised his love for African American literature in the process. He stayed on to complete a Research masters, specialising in the African American novel, and achieved a Distinction.

During that time he’d completed two summer internships in content marketing at an online jewellery retailer in London, where he got a crash course in all things content, marketing, and SEO.

“I’m constantly listening to music of all genres, and me and my mates have a weekly podcast. My favourite thing to do is listen to tunes while cooking up a nice meal for my two flatmates.”
